My Person: Day 119

In Uncategorized on September 9, 2015 at 4:22 am

There’s that one person, your person, that one that feels like home.  I’ve determined now that you will never forget that person that felt that way even if they find a new path that takes them in the opposite direction of you. It’s because it’s the greatest feeling in the world and yet so impossible to explain. Just remembering it brings smiles and happiness!

Sometimes I wonder how many people out there are actually married to people that feel like ‘home.’ I wonder how many people know what it feels like to be with someone that gives you that warm, happy sense of comfort and ease. How many people even know what I’m talking about? I hope lots.

I’m not entirely convinced that I’ll never again find a person that feels like home. I found it once, so it is possible that I could find it again – and I might not. But if there is one thing I’m learning, it’s that I will never ever settle for less than that kind of love.

When you’ve got that feeling, and that person lying next to you everyday that harbors it, it’s so so special.

a whit.
